May Pottery Intensive with Jered

In this four-day intensive, Jered will share many of the techniques he has learned over his thirty-three years as a potter. He will guide you through a complete cycle, from throwing to finished pieces.

Jered will go over pottery design fundamentals and practices, the ergonomics of throwing on the wheel, making multiples and matching sets, trimming, additions and fittings, drying, and glazing.

Jered will also teach a variety of throwing techniques for various forms. He will review personal body mechanics, economy of movement, as well as best practices for a comfortable and sustainable work environment.

Beginners to advanced students welcome. Jered will meet you where you are. But space is limited. He is only taking four students this time.  Ticket price includes all materials, firing, and glazing.

Please note this workshop is four days: May 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th, 1pm-5pm
